Newest UM Rebel

Godfather Dunbar and Godmother Anastasia made sure Hyde knows that Jane has Ole Miss in her blood. She sported her new cheerleading suit around the house to cheer the Rebels on while Daddy supported his Tigers. Luckily, both teams won today!

September 14th was Jane's 1 year checkup:
Head 18.5"
Height 30" (75%)
Weight 21 pounds, 14 ounces (50%)
Drinking 24oz Whole Milk per day
3 shots: MMR (Measles, Mumps & Rubella), Pneumococcal Conjugate, Chicken Pox Vaccine
Eating table foods, mastering utensils, drinking from a sippy cup, walking, talking, dancing, getting tooth #7 and #8.
Jane did great! (Mommy still needs work in the shot reaction area)

Hyde and Elton John

I have to post how famous Hyde is...He was in Elton John's video for "You Gotta Love Someone"! He and his sister, Bettye Jane, are featured in his video filmed outside of Natchez in Roxy, MS. You have to watch it to believe it...

Unfortunatly, they did not get to meet him.

Happy 1st Birthday Jane!

It is hard to believe it has been a year! Jane has been an amazing addition to Hyde and my life and we cannot imagine life without her. She has brought us such joy and happiness. We look forward to the future with Jane and watching her grow and develop.

A New Decade

I had a great birthday with tons of calls, emails, and texts. Thank you wonderful friends and family!

Jane's 1st Birthday: 09-10-10

Jane's 1st birthday: Gran Jan and Papa Mike drove from the MS Delta for the occasion as well as Aunt Beej and Uncle Chops from the TN Delta. The 1st Presbyterian Church held a Men's Culinary Event at Sherry and Lee Jones's house that night so we all went. Everyone in attendance sang "Happy Birthday" to Jane. She didn't know what to think at first since everyone was looking at her and singing, but by the end of the song, she had a smile on her face-what a ham!

The Birthday Sign is a Carby tradition. Hyde has some of the cutest baby pictures of holding his birthday sign. The tradition continues! (Jane was born at 6:01pm)
