Time flies when you're having fun! And Walker is so much fun!!
Walker is crawling up a storm, pulling up and today he showed me he
was developing his pincer grasp. He picked up small pieces of rice
crackers and put them in his mouth! I was amazed. It just makes me
wonder how long he has been wanting to eat something other than pureed
food. He is so alert and always zones in on my eating something that I
joke that he is ready for what I am eating...well, he almost is! This
is a game changer....
Walker pulled up for the first time on December 3 in the kitchen. He
was crawling around the kitchen floor while Hyde and I cooked dinner.
Hyde quickly told me to drop what I was doing to come look at Walker
and there he was-standing, holding on to the pot under the kitchen
table. We were amazed to say the least! He stood so long that Hyde was
able to get out his camera and take a picture of him. Again, this is
a game changer....
As I decorate for Christmas, I am cleaning up and cleaning out
anything that Walker could put in his mouth or pull up on that could
fall over. Ugh...there is a lot!
He is the happiest little boy! Always smiling and laughing even if he
is tired. His hair is growing in-still blonde. His eyes now have brown
specks in the middle. Who knows what they will turn out to be.
