My friend Katie Tillman is getting her exploring her talent in photography and getting her feet wet with photo sessions. Walker was her first newborn session and came to the house on two different days to capture Walker's newborn stage. Walker was wide awake on Day 7 and slept on Day 10. I absolutely love the pictures she took and cannot pick a favorite! Please check out her blog for a few pictures and a slideshow along with her website where you can view the pictures at your your own pace. Walker's session will be under the Gallery tab.

Max and Jane
Max invited us over to swim in the side yard at Texada.
This is a Malt Shop break.
and then they finished the break inside after the ants ran them away.
We are so glad Max is in town to play with. He is in the middle of a big move from Pittsburg, PA to Denver, CO.

Walker: 3 Weeks Old
Jane wanted to hold her little brother this morning and had a great
time doing so. I was able to snap a few pictures of the two of them. I
haven't taken enough pictures of little Walker, but I will try to do
better.
And I tried to get a foot comparison.

Walker @ 2 Weeks
Walker is a great sleeper. Yea!! and has changed so much already. He still looks like Jane did but has a little bit lighter hair. He has a great cowlick right up front and his eyes are that blue grey color so it will gene interesting to see if he goes blonde and blue like his sister. (And his forehead wrinkles up a lot)
Time flies! Walker is already 2 weeks old! You have been very kind in requesting Walker updates. I am very behind on picture taking but have had a friend come over for some newborn pics. She came at the one week mark and is out of town now. As soon as she edits them I will forward them on to you.

Mother's Day
The day before Mother's Day, we were able to spend some time with my mother and her mother, Jane. For Mother's Day, we drove from Oxford to Glendora to hang out with Grandmother Ygondine, Dad, Mom, Gaines, Gaines Jr., and Sykes and watch a few innings of Daniel pitching for the Red Sox.

For Mother's Day, we drove from Oxford to Glendora to hang out with Grandmother Ygondine, Dad, Mom, Gaines, Gaines Jr., and Sykes and watch a few innings of Daniel pitching for the Red Sox. Then we had to hit the road to get back to Natchez to see my little girl.
These 2 make motherhood amazing!
Jane made this flower arrangement for me at school. I love it:)

Belly Pics for Comparison
Nursery Rhyme Dress
Today Jane went to school and I was able to spend all day sewing! I was able to finish an adorable dress for Jane and she loves it. I think the buttons are perfect and I'm amazed I found them at WalMart (our only fabric/notion supplier).
40 Weeks, Day 5
We are still waiting! This baby is either stubborn/strong willed like Jane or very laid back. I think you know which one I'm hoping for.
A thought: Jane was also due on a Saturday and came that next Thursday, 5 days late. Crossing fingers that that might be the same situation. Now not knowing the gender is really making me anxious.
