Natchez Baby Shower

Saturday, August 22 was my Natchez Baby Shower and Luncheon hosted by Courtney Bridwell, Katherine Callon, Mollie Carby, Laurel Jenkins, Hannah Mason, Kate Rountree. Hyde and I are very fortunate to have such wonderful friends and family supporting us and celebrating the upcoming  arrival of little Jane. We had a great afternoon at our "lady party" (quoting Elle Rountree) and I appreciate all the planning and thought that went into making it a success. Thanks everyone!

Cassie and Gaines

Cousin Baby Carby is on the way!

Today Mollie and Gaston Carby found out they are having a GIRL due December 29th! We are so excited for the two of them and look forward to the years of Baby Carby and Jane playing together. We love that they will only be 4 months apart! Baby Carby is only 11 oz. now. It is amazing how quickly they grow.

Dilation: Zero Centimenters

Tomorrow starts my 36th week and I will have doctor appointments every week until I deliver. Here are today's measurements for those of you who know what they are and mean:

-3 station (head dropped into pelvis-need to be at +3 to push)

50% thinned/effaced (need to be at 100% to push)

0 cm dilated (need to be at 10 cm to push)

My next appointment is next Friday so we will see where we are then...In the meantime, Jane is still moving around and stretching her legs into my gallbladder, liver and ribs!

August 5...One month countdown!

Today is August 5th-a month before my due date! I can't believe it is already here! I can no longer travel and we are preparing the bed and breakfast for Jane's arrival. We can't wait to meet her, but will enjoy our last month by getting as much sleep as we can.
