15 Month Checkup

Today was Jane's 15 month checkup.  Jane was such a big girl that she didn't even cry for her shot (DTP). I was very proud of her for being strong and even showed off some of her tricks to Dr. Russ. She showed the doctor how old she is (she holds up her index finger), pointed to her ear and said "eye" (we are still working on that) and where her belly button is, and told her what an owl says. We were challenged to work on the transition from bottle to sippy cups for milk. Jane doesn't have a pacifier or lovie-she has her ba-ba. This is going to be tough. Everything else checked out okay and we were sent on our way. Afterwards, we went and got a pink balloon as a treat since she loves them so much then she slept for 3.5 hours!

The Stats: all 75th percentile
Head: 18.5"
Weight: 25 pounds, 2 ounces (no wonder my back has been killing me!)
Height: 3"
(so she gained 2 pounds and grew 1" in 3 months)

The Kitchen Sink

Jane would do this all day long if we let her. She absolutely loves playing with water and has also discovered how to turn on our bath tub and play with the water there. Don't worry, she can only reach the cold water handle.
