Horsey ride

Jane is obsessed with horses these days! She especially loves seeing the horses pulling the carriages down the street. We also stop by their post on Canal Street to pet them. Jake (driver: Jack) is blind in his left eye and wears a skull and cross bones sticker on his eye blinder. Mac (driver: Michael) is also very kind.
This video is from the porch at Hawthorne, Hyde's grandparent's house. Hyde used to ride this horse until he fell asleep when he was little.
You may be able to hear her say
Horsey (usually said twice)
Hair (now she points and says hair, eyes, ears, nose, mouth, hair)
More
One More (says this a lot when reading at night)

Stanton Hall Photo Shoot

Hyde, Jane and I were asked to pose as "visitors" for the Pilgrimage
Tour brochures. Located at Stanton Hall, we joined the Soire Group
(high school age in costume), Mac the horse and Michael the carriage
driver, and several other locals on Saturday morning for some
pictures. It was a beautiful setting.

The girl in pink was a Page when Hyde was King.

Front Yard

We have been wanting to continue the box woods that line our bedroom across the front of the house for a year, but thought we would wait until Spring to see the azaleas bloom. Well, they didn't. SO... the box woods went in! While I drove back from Oxford for one of my yoga certification weekends, Philip, Hyde and Jane replanted our front yard. It was so nice to arrive to such a nice surprise! They worked for 8 hours! Stella was giving tours at her house so Jane was with the boys throughout the whole process-the nursery, the hardware store, etc. I am so glad they documented the day. Too funny!

(Gotta love living on a dead end street-not many cars coming by)

No azaleas!!

Finally, a shirt has been put on along with some beads.

"Good Job P. Keep up the good work!"

Worn out

Thank you Hyde and Philip! They front looks GREAT!
