Hyde had to do work a little in New Orleans from June 1-3, so Jane and I joined him. Jane made herself so comfortable at the hotel you would have thought a book named, Jane at the Ritz, would have replaced Eloise! Our first night in NOLA, we walked to Jackson Square and ate at Stanley's.
Jane loved her pancakes and eggs, a few of Dad's onion rings.
Before Hyde had to work the next day, we walked around the Quarter and Jane had her first Cafe DuMonde experience-powdered sugar everywhere! After greeting each carriage horse, we strolled down to the aquarium. Wow! We had a great time there! The night before we left, we had dinner with Hyde's cousin, Daniel, and his wife, Liz, at Rio Mar in the Warehouse District. It was very yummy and a great time catching up!
I'm nervous I deleted all the pictures from the aquarium...hopefully I'll be back with photos.
We drove from New Orleans to Mobile and had a quick visit with Rachel. Since we were in 2 cars, we left one with her and drove to Orange Beach for the 2nd Annual Peru Crew Beach Trip.
