Savannah Rock and Roll Half Marathon

Hyde and Key Smith trained for months for the 13.1 miles and finished strong! Key ran a 1:36. Hyde ran a 1:40:36 and finished as the 331st male and the 435th overall out of 16,000 runners. This was Savannah's first RNR Event and over 23,000 people ran Saturday morning.
I went and cheered the boys on at the starting line, mile 8, and mile 13. I was able to see some beautiful streets, squares, and houses on my walk but apparently they running route was not as scenic. They ended in Forsyth Park with a fun band, beer, and lots of runners donning their medal. It was colder than expected. It wouldn't have been too bad except the wind was 15-20 mph and made it much colder.
Hyde at mile 8. I learned that I needed to be on video mode. (He is the guy with the green shoes)
The poster to cheer the boys on.
Disregard my terrible cheering voice.
Hyde and Key recovering.
This "Where's Waldo" crew was a crowd favorite. Next race, Hyde needs to wear something more noticeable so I can find him more easily in the crowd.

Sip and See for Stella

Stella's GG and Totty hosted a beautiful Sip and See on Sunday, October 30 at Hawthorne. We had a lovely table filled with delicious food, and many nice ladies were in attendance. Little Stella was an angel, and was dressed like a doll. Many thanks to GG for hosting at her house, and to Totty for her planning and tasty treats. Also, thanks to Lee for her beautiful invitations, and for taking these great pictures!

It took a little while for her to warm up but as soon as she saw the lollipop, she was ready for the party

Halloween Costume Party

The Goulish Grannies hosted a party at Glen Auburn for little goblins.
It was so fun to see all the little ones in their costumes. We hope
the Grannies make this an annual event!

I hope I can get more pictures of all the other children. I didn't take pictures since so many already had their cameras out.
