Long Last Farm

We had a great time at Gran Jan's 60th Birthday last night but now the kiddos can play together and head out to the barn with Gran Jan!  Eleanor, the proud big sister, was happy to show her cousins Garnett, who is just 8 weeks old!

Jane's Princess 4th Birthday Party

Jane celebrated her 4th Birthday on Sunday, September 8 with a Princess Party.  We had a great crowd with friends and family and even a special appearance by Belle and Rapunzel! It's hard to believe my little girl is already 4! She certainly has brought us joy and some hard times-she has a lot of spunk and she is strong willed! I just pray that she directs that energy in a positive direction. We love you Jane for being yourself!

Rah Rah Camp

Jane participated in Cathedral's Rah Rah Camp from Aug 26-30. Every day after school, they have a snack and learn cheers and dances from the High School and Middle School Cheerleaders.

Bailey coaching Jane's grade
Each day, an award is given out to a student and Jane received the "Dancing Diva" award on Wednesday.

Jane didn't show us any cheers all week saying that we will just have to see them on Friday at the performance. I couldn't wait!! Well, after this picture and seeing me, Hyde, Walker and P in the stands, Jane clammed up and eventually started crying. I rushed down there and she sat with me on the floor until the camp was over. Maybe next year....

Jane's First Sleepover

Jane had her first sleepover on June 6 at Hawthorne with her cousin Isabel Jenkins. She and Isabel had such a fun time swimming together that they didn't want the fun to end. She made a pallet on the floor of the Blue Room where Laurel and Phillips were sleeping. The did great! Phillips told them a bed time story and they went right to sleep.  Phillips visited the Do-Nut Shop for a doughnut breakfast.
Another tidbit: Laurel is pregnant with her 3rd! She is due January 4 and they are not finding out what they are having. Oddly, Laurel's 3 dues dates have been January 3rd, 4th, and 5th! It will be interesting to see when baby 3 arrives. Congrats to them!

Children's Museum

We had a great time at the Mississippi Children's Museum with Aunt Grace and Cousin Eleanor while my car was at the shop. When I turned on the AC, the engine shut off. And in June in South Mississippi, needless to say, this had to be fixed! We stayed all afternoon and still didn't get to see/do everything.
