TN Safari Park

Stella, Jane and I visited Aunt Beej and Uncle Chops in Halls, TN before heading to Oxford for the Halloween/Auburn game weekend. On Wednesday we shopped at Charlene's Colony of Shops and ate at the Tea Room. I think I could eat there every day! Yummy!! And I think I could shop every day at Charlene's for a week and still find something I hadn't seen. There are too many great things in there! Especially Christmas decorations on this trip.
For our afternoon activity, we went to the Tennessee Safari Park just west of Halls. http://www.tennesseesafaripark.com/ Wow! They had a ton of animals! The first part of our trip was spent walking around to the fenced off areas and feeding the animals.
Then, you drive in your car through acres of land with animals roaming. They will come up to your car and eat from the buckets of food we bought. It was really cool-a little like Jurassic Park at first-but a ton of fun. The first animal that came to the car was an ostrich to Charlie's window and we all freaked out. Their eyes are weird. Once we figured out they only wanted food we loved it. We can't wait to go back!!

The Pughs joined us back at the house for a burger dinner. We were finally able to meet sweet Caroline and Worth, twins of Katie and Eugene. They are precious!
