I got to run the tarp this morning and was 20th in line!! There was a camera on a tri-pod set up in the middle of the field and Hyde found the video on YouTube. At the 46 second mark you can see me sprinting on the left side of the screen behind the guy with the yellow chair. That "Yellow Zone" crew was in trouble...the Mississippi Crew is moving in!

Working on her hula hoop. I think she had more fun getting a smiley face on her hand
Mom working hard on the hula hoop, Jane taking a break talking to Totty. Gaston is slaving away at Kathryn's hula hoop while the girls hang out.
Daddy is proud of Jane's LSU spirit with a tiger tail on her hula hoop.
Gaston still working hard at Kathryn's hula hoop.
Jane loved the face painting! She sat completely still for her nose and wiskers to be drawn.
Steve Earle
Jane really figured out the festival tone today. She went with the flow and had a great time. She even wore her headphones so we were able to hang out on our tarp near the stage and watch Steve Earle up close.
We were able to hear a little of Sarah McLachlan before we took Jane home. It was interesting to be able to step out of the shower and hear her singing "Building a Mystery" just few blocks away. Since all the windows were open (for our air conditioning), we could hear the concert from our couch.
A Great Day To Be Alive and especially at the festival!!
