Straight Up Posing!

We made it to St. Simons!!! Walker, Jane and I drove to Meridian to meet my parents for breakfast. We followed Dad while Mom drove my car and I sat between the kiddos for the rest of the trip. You can only imagine that we were THRILLED to make it to SSI after the 12 hour car ride (13 if you include the time change)
Jane was pumped to show off her new swimming skills-and a few poses...
Yep, we are in trouble!
And the best part is that she would strike a pose, pause for a few seconds for a picture to be taken, then strike another pose. Think she has grown up in front of the camera?

Odell & Dennis

We stopped in Cruger on Tuesday, July 17 on our way back to Natchez to visit with Odell and Dennis. We were delighted to see that Cathy and Katie Thompson were there too. Everyone was able to meet Walker for the first time and Cathy and Katie were able to meet Jane. Katie played many rounds of Hide and Seek with Jane and showed Jane her magic trick with a coin going through a hole in the back of her head and coming out her mouth. I was super impressed and hope that one day I can pull off the trick as well as she does.

Walker became very fussy during our visit and I was relieved to have Cathy there. Cathy is an amazing labor and delivery nurse! After several questions and tricks to settle Walker down, she mentioned if I had tried cutting dairy out dof my diet. I hadn't and thought it might be worth the try. I am now 2 weeks dairy free and Walker is a different baby! He hangs out and doesn't go into his gassy screaming tantrums. THANK YOU CATHY!!

Random Summer Pics

I told Jane to go in her room, pick out her pjs and start getting ready for bed. Walked in to Jane putting on her full princess costume-shoes included. I can't imagine how uncomfortable it had to have been sleeping in that tulle.
Jane insisted that I take her picture with her little brother. Well, of course!

SSI (just a few pics)

Susanne worked the front desk this summer and Jane loved visiting her to get her crown.
One afternoon there was a water spout right past the King and Prince. It was the wildest thing. You may be able to see all the water it was kicking up where it touched the ocean. Everyone was asked to leave the pool so what do I do, take my 8 week old closer to take a picture.
Walker hated wearing these, but I had to get just one picture
Tolerating the beach while Jane has a blast in the sand.
